In the fictional TV show Ebba's Philosophical Salon, two women sit and talk literally and abstractly about interior design and what it means to feel at home. The women's faces are based on images of the faces of Swedish media personality Ebba von Sydow and Princess Sofia, sourced from the internet. The dialogue in the video is partly based on lines taken from Ebba von Sydow’s podcast. The work plays on the fact that TV studios in morning and evening shows are often decorated to look like the living room of a home, and the Ebba character talks about the studio they are sitting in as if it is synchronous with her real home.
